2) Regular Member Applicant Questionnaire (RMAQ).

Attribute Evaluation Interview (AEI)

The Attribute Evaluation Interview (AEI) is not just a part of the RCMP police officer recruitment process; it’s a pivotal stage. It’s designed to assess your suitability for the role by evaluating your four main competencies, making it a crucial step in your journey.

Our RCMP interview coaching focuses on the following core competencies

  • Problem-solving
  • Communication
  • Teamwork
  • Self-control and composure

Using behavioural-based questions (BOQ), the RCMP delves into your skills, attributes, and characteristics to determine your suitability for the position.

To proceed with the recruitment process, passing the Attribute Evaluation. (AEI) is mandatory.

Regular Member Applicant Questionnaire (RMAQ) Interview

In the Regular Member Applicant Questionnaire (RMAQ) Interview, an RCMP suitability/recruiting member will review your information with you, serving the purpose of:

  • Gaining a deeper understanding of your character
  • Evaluating the severity, recency, and frequency of negative past actions or behaviours.
  • We coach you on positively addressing any questions on “past transgressions.”

The outcome of this interview will determine your progress in the recruiting process, so it’s crucial to be well-prepared.

Honesty is crucial in the RCMP interview process. We highly recommend that you disclose all actions and behaviours in your questionnaire.

AnEDGE, during your RCMP interview preparation,  will review your questionnaire responses before the interview, as the interviewer will assess your honesty and integrity throughout the interview.
